Blue Gum<br>\nProject 2025 ARSN 685 870 688 involves the establishment of Eucalyptus globulus<br>\n(Tasmanian Blue Gum) plantations for the harvesting and sale of timber.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">The Project will\noperate on high quality land chosen to meet strict criteria. As a result, the\nyield to Growers at the time of harvesting is expected to be significantly\nhigher than any other past or present competitor. It is this aspect of the\nquality of the land which ensures that the Project will remain niche and\npremium, as it is not possible to obtain large parcels of land of the quality\nacceptable to the Project.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">&nbsp;<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">Of particular\ninterest is that blue gum woodchip prices reached record levels in 2023 and\nhave hovered around that price ever since. This arises from both the classic\nsupply\/demand equation and from exchange rate movements.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\"><br>\nThis year\u2019s Project will include establishment by way of coppicing which will\nconstitute between two-thirds and 100% of the trees. Planting will make up the\nbalance (if any).&nbsp; High quality seedlings\nwill be used.&nbsp; <span style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">The minimum initial contribution (inc GST) will be $35,000 which will\nsecure 5 hectares.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">Forestry\nmanagement is controlled by a very experienced company, WACAP Treefarms Pty\nLtd.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\"><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">In addition to\nthe initial payment of $7000 (inc GST) per hectare,&nbsp;<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">Growers\nare required to pay both an annual sum for rental of the leased property and\nfees for the ongoing management of the Plantations. The first annual sum for\nrental will be $650 (inc GST) per hectare (indexed from 30 June 2025 and is\npayable on 30 November 2025 and thereafter on the 30 September in each year.\nThe first annual sum for tending will be $220 (inc GST) per hectare (Indexed\nfrom 30 June 2025 payable on 30 November 2025 and thereafter on the 30\nSeptember in each year.&nbsp;Subsequent amounts for both rental and tending\nwill be indexed in each year to take account of inflation.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins; background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-top:8.0pt\"><span style=\"font-size:12.0pt;\nfont-family:Poppins\">There is the ability to subscribe jointly with another\nentity associated with you (e.g. your Self-Managed Superannuation Fund) whereby\nyou make the first payment of fees (using, if you wish, the finance package)\nand the Superannuation Fund makes all subsequent payments.&nbsp; The proceeds of harvest will be shared equally\nbetween you and the Superannuation Fund.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">The harvested\ntimber will be sold to W.A. Chip &amp; Pulp Co. (owned by the Marubeni\nCorporation of Japan) under a contract that allows the Project Manager to\nnegotiate with any other potential buyers for a higher price. W.A. Chip &amp;\nPulp Co. then has the right to match these better terms, in which case W.A.\nChip &amp; Pulp Co. will be the buyer. The market for Blue Gum wood is usually\ncompetitive and there does not appear to be any reason why this will change\nduring the life of the Project.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">Any Carbon and\nother environmental credits which are received will be treated as equivalent to\nthe sale of the wood and will be paid 100% to Growers. Forestry establishment\nand management is sub-contracted to WA Plantation Resources Pty Ltd. I have the\ngreatest confidence in the skills of WAPRES which provides the coppice planting\nand maintenance of the trees. The trees will be harvested in about 10 years.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">A finance package\nis available, being 80% of the Application Amount at 15% per annum interest.\nThis is equivalent to 88% of the Application Amount once the GST payable on the\nApplication Amount is refunded by the Australian Taxation Office. The loan is\nrepayable by way of direct debit by equal monthly instalments ending on 15 June\n2030. Each instalment is of both principal and interest, with interest being\ncharged on the reducing principal. There is no loan establishment fee or other\ncharges payable in respect of this finance package, and no break fees should a\nGrower wish to refinance with another source of finance.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p><p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: Poppins;\">All fees\n(including the Application Amount and the annual fees and rent) should be\neligible for a 100% immediate tax deduction in the year they are paid. A\nProduct Ruling has been applied for and will be available at\nwww.wabluegum.com.au.
